MILQ is developed continuously. This is what is new — no version numbers, but what it means for you.
Subscribe to updates via RSSSettings reorganised
Settings are now grouped into “Company” and “Personal”. Everything that appears on the invoice — bank details and design — lives under “Invoices”; the add-on features (AI receipt reading, foreign currencies, time tracking) are switched on under “Features”, taking effect immediately. Company settings can now only be changed by owners; team members see them read-only.

Beyond the logo, you now choose the typeface, accent colour, logo position and size, table style and a footer with e-mail, phone, website or VAT number. A sample invoice shows every change instantly. The design applies to invoices, quotes and credit notes — including existing ones, as every PDF is generated on request.

If you work by the hour, track your time directly in MILQ: date, customer, service, duration, text — billable or not. Filter the list by open or billed and by customer; put selected entries on an invoice with one click, one line per entry with its date. Enable it under Settings › Features.

Invoices go straight from MILQ to the customer by e-mail — with PDF, in their language, replies land with you. Overdue invoices get a reminder with one click, friendly first, then firm. Quotes are written in the same editor and converted to an invoice with one click. And a paid invoice is reversed with a credit note — in full or in part, correct for the books and for VAT (cipher 235).
Multiple users and clients
Invite team members or your accountant to your company by e-mail — as owner or team member. And anyone looking after several companies switches between them with one click or creates a new one for a client. Under Settings › Users and “My companies”.
Entries in EUR, USD and GBP
Type the amount in the foreign currency, MILQ applies the FTA daily rate for the entry date and books in francs. The rate can be overwritten; journal, account detail and CSV show the original amount, rate and source. Enable it under Settings › Features.

A client pays in instalments? Record each payment separately — the invoice stays open until the remainder arrives, and open items only count what is still due. Each instalment becomes its own entry in the journal.
MILQ in French
App, invoices, year-end documents and the knowledge base are now available in French as well — the fourth language alongside German, English and Spanish. Pick your language in your account; the invoice language can be set separately per invoice.
VAT return laid out like the FTA form
The VAT return now shows the figures in the same order as the official form — copy them line by line and you are done. Deleted receipts also go to a recycle bin instead of being gone for good.
